MF910/ MF910G/MF910T Insulating Glass with Butyl Hot-Melt Sealant: Perfect for the initial sealing of insulating glass, this superior sealant works in harmony with elastic sealant to create an exceptional anti-moisture barrier.
IG and SG Silicone sealants IFT, TUV approved , SGS attested, IGMA/IGCC listed: we have the world's advanced automatic polysulfur, silicone, butyl, polyurethane sealant production line; is the domestic enterprise according to the "EU silicone structural sealant" standard established silicone structural sealant test method, independently developed and introduced the introduction of "EU silicone structural sealant" standard required a full set of testing equipment, and applied for dozens of countries.
MF910H single-pass butyl hot-melt sealant for insulating glass: It has good adhesion to glass, aluminum alloy, galvanized steel, stainless steel and other materials, has good water resistance and high strength, so double-layer sealing is not required
MF910S Thermoplastic spacer for insulating glass: It has excellent adhesion to glass, and has certain rigidity. It can absorb water vapor between the glass, integrate the functions of aluminum strip, molecular sieve and butyl rubber, and can be sealed with elasticity. The glue together constitutes an excellent anti-moisture system.
Why use butyl hot melt sealant?
Insulating glass (channel aluminum type) must adopt a double-sealing method to ensure its sealing and durability. That is to say, the first seal adopts hot-melt butyl sealant, which is mainly used for sealing; the second seal is completed by elastic sealant, which plays the role of auxiliary sealing and maintaining the stability of the insulating glass structure. The two complement each other and are indispensable.
Product performance experiments are carried out in accordance with JC/T 914-2003 standards, and items include sealant performance indicators such as penetration, shear strength, plasticity, density, low temperature flexibility, water vapor transmission rate, and thermal weight loss.
a. Determination of density
According to the method specified in GB/T1033
(Dipping method) proceed.
Data accuracy is controlled within ±0.0001g
Mettler analytical balance
b. Thermal weight loss
In this test, according to the JC/T 914 standard, 6 cube specimens with a side length of 20mm were made. After weighing, they were placed horizontally under standard conditions for 8 hours, and 5 of them were placed in an oven at 130°C. After 50h, measure the mass loss of the heat-treated sample and check the surface changes.

C. Plasticity
This indicator is to characterize the pros and cons of product flexibility. The test refers to the method specified in the recovery value in GB/T 12828, and the sample is a cube with a side length of 20mm.
d. Penetration
This index characterizes the softness and hardness of the product at room temperature and the hot melt performance and rheological properties at high temperature. The normal temperature value (25°C) characterizes the state of the sealant during use; the high temperature value (130°C) characterizes the state of the sealant during construction. The test method adopts the JC/T914 standard, the test mold is type A, and the test time is 5s.
e. Shear strength
This indicator characterizes the mechanical properties of the product, mainly investigating the adhesion of the product to the substrate (glass, aluminum, stainless steel, etc.), and is the main indicator for testing the quality of the sealant. This test is in accordance with the method specified in JC/T914, and the sample thickness is 2.0±0.2mm. The stretching speed is 50mm/min.
Electronic tensile machine
f, Fogging by ultraviolet radiation:
This indicator is to investigate the performance changes of the hollow glass made under ultraviolet irradiation, to detect the UV stability of the sealant, and to test whether the hollow glass sealant contains organic volatiles that affect the line of sight. Carry out according to GB/T11944 standard.
g. Low temperature flexibility
This indicator characterizes the ability of the product to work in a low temperature environment. The test refers to the requirements of low temperature flexibility in GB/T13477, and the sample is made into a cylindrical strip of φ (5±0.1) mm with a smooth surface without bubbles and impurities. Place it at -45°C for 5 minutes, and then quickly fold it in half 180°. The half-folding operation is completed within 1 to 2 seconds. After half-folding, check the sample cracking or disconnection immediately.
Dew point meter
h. Water vapor transmission rate
This indicator is to characterize the airtightness of the product and is one of the important technical indicators to ensure the life of the insulating glass. The experimental method is carried out in accordance with the regulations of JC/T914.

i. Squeeze out
This experiment simulates the use of sealant, and the index characterizes the extrusion performance of the sealant. Our experimental method is to measure the amount of extrusion at a certain temperature (130 ºC), a certain pressure (0.25MPa), and a certain time (30s). The more the amount of extrusion, the better the workability of the sealant.

Precautions and precautions
The initial 20g of mixed glue may be insufficiently mixed and is not recommended.
The glue mixed at room temperature should be used during the application period.
Avoid contact with skin and eyes. If inadvertently, rinse immediately with plenty of water and consult a doctor if necessary;
avoid contact with children; do not contaminate food, medicine or cosmetics.
The heavy workpiece to be bonded should be avoided to move before it is completely cured, and measures should be taken to fix it when it is necessary to move.
Recommended use conditions: temperature 15 ~ 35C, relative humidity 40% ~ 80%; if the temperature and humidity are lower than the recommended lower limit, the horn glue will cure more slowly, and if it is higher than the recommended upper limit, the construction time will be shortened.
