MF899-25 silicone structural sealing gum is a single component, room temperature, has excellent weather resistance and sealing properties, and has good bonding properties for a variety of materials such as glass, aluminum, and steel. It can be used in structural assembly and anti-corrosion, which can meet the technical indicators of JG / T475, GB 16776 and ETAG 002, and provide 25-year quality assurance.
The MF899-25 unique weather resistance makes it completely solidified even if it is exposed to harsh weather conditions. The original design performance of the seam does not have significant changes due to aging and exposure to the atmosphere, and the sealing adhesive still has the characteristics of waterproof, weatherproof and the structural strength.
The solidified sealing glue remains elastic in a high temperature range of -60 ° C, and does not embrittlement, cracking or torn.

Adhesive test

Compatibility test
The incompatibility of the material can cause silicone glue, and even loss of adhesion, in order to avoid such problems, and ensure the compatibility of the material and silicone gum, our company also provides the accessories provided by the customer. (Such as hip rods, strips and double-sided strips, etc.) compatibility with our silicone adhesive products.
The materials or site samples used in the project must be provided to our company for adhesion and compatibility tests.
Structural assembly seam design
Silicone structural seam design must be carried out by a professional designer based on the general design guidance of the construction industry.
Typical silicone structural seam design is shown in Figure 1. Basic design generally includes: the width of the structural glue cannot be less than 6 mm.
The depth of the structuch is not less than 6 mm.
The width of the structural glue must be equal to or greater than the depth of the structural adhesive. Minimum width calculation formula (see Figure 1).

Application method
Surface cleanup
Clear all impurities and contaminants such as grease, dust, water stains, frosted, surface dirt, dust, water stains, frosted, surface dirt, residual sealants, assembly accessories and protective coatings.
Metals, glass and plastic must be used in solvent such as anhydrous ethanol, acetone, butanone, isopropyl alcohol, and the surface of the "double cloth wiping". In all cases, the solvent must be wiped with a clean, no descending white cloth. Methods of cleaner or soapy water.
Use primer
Use MF899-25 silicone structural sealing gums generally do not need primers. If the adhesive test is pointed out that the primer is used, it is clean and non-descending cloth on the surface of the seam on the surface of the seam and processed. The corresponding test must be made before the glue to determine if it is necessary to apply a paint.
liner material
Open-hole sex polyurethane foam, closed porosity polyethylene foam or unsettled polyalne pregnant material is a recommended liner material, so that the polyethylene tape can be replaced with a polyethylene tape .
Shaded and correction
The parts near the seam should be shaped to ensure that the seal is full of appearance. Never let the shielding tape contact the surface of the substrate to be glued. After the finishing work is completed, the shielding tape should be removed immediately.

The MF899-25 silicone structural sealant continuously squeezes and filled the seam. Operation precautions
