Instructions
MF881-25HM does not require primer to have good adhesion to most coated and uncoated glass, metal spacers, etc. In order to ensure the quality of the project, it is recommended that compatibility and adhesion tests be done in advance before each project is used.
The mixing ratio
In order to obtain better physical properties, it is recommended that the base and curing agent be mixed in a completely closed mixing system. An automatic glue spreader can be used instead of hand or hand-held agitators, because it is easy to remove air during the mixing process. Brought in, affecting the physical properties of the sealant after curing.
In order to obtain the best sealant performance, the ratio of base rubber and curing agent should be mixed at a mass ratio of 12:1, or an equivalent volume ratio of 8.0:1. Under this mixing ratio, the construction period of the sealant should be 30min~60min, and the surface drying time should be within 3h. The mixing ratio is allowed to be adjusted in a small range, but the quality ratio is best in the range of 11:1 to 16:1. It is recommended to stir the curing agent evenly before use. Since the curing agent easily reacts with moisture in the air, it cannot be exposed to the air for a long time.
Equipment cleaning
After the glue is applied, the pipes of the glue maker must be flushed with base glue or cleaned with solvent. If the cured sealant already exists inside the equipment, use a suitable solvent to clean it immediately to ensure that the pipe surface is clean after cleaning.
Ready to work
Remove dirt on the surface of the substrate, such as grease, dust, water, frost, old sealant, glass compound, protective coating, etc. Metal, glass and plastic surfaces should be cleaned by mechanical methods or solvents. Wipe the substrate with a clean, lint-free white cloth moistened with solvent, and then wipe it with a clean, lint-free white cloth.
Primer
The use of MF881-25HM generally does not require primer. Do a compatibility test before use, and determine whether to use a primer based on the results of the compatibility and adhesion test.
Protection and construction
To ensure appearance and cleanliness, the area near the joints should be covered with protective tape during construction. The protective tape is not allowed to touch the glued surface, which is the area where the silicone sealant will adhere. The protective tape should be removed immediately after the gluing process is completed.
Use restrictions
This product is not suitable for:
- On the surface of building materials that may seep oil, plasticizer, solvent, or partially vulcanized rubber gasket or tape
- Places subject to excessive friction or physical damage
- A completely airtight place during curing
- Frosty or wet surface
- Direct contact with food or other food-grade surface applications
Repair
If the sealant is found to be damaged, use a clean knife to cut or scratch the surface of the cured sealant, and then re-gluing.
Precautions
Before construction, please read the product manual, safety data sheet, packaging label carefully to obtain information on safe use and health hazards.

Safety notice
This product manual does not include all the information on safe use instructions. To ensure safe construction, you should carefully read the "Silicone Structural Sealant Construction Guide" and the product manual before use, and contact your local sales company for these materials. Especially for the bonding of chrome-plated surfaces (such as chrome-plated glass), you must contact the company's technical department before use and perform safety testing before using it.

Precautions and precautions
The initial 20g of mixed glue may be insufficiently mixed and is not recommended.
The glue mixed at room temperature should be used during the application period.
Avoid contact with skin and eyes. If inadvertently, rinse immediately with plenty of water and consult a doctor if necessary;
avoid contact with children; do not contaminate food, medicine or cosmetics.
The heavy workpiece to be bonded should be avoided to move before it is completely cured, and measures should be taken to fix it when it is necessary to move.
Recommended use conditions: temperature 15 ~ 35C, relative humidity 40% ~ 80%; if the temperature and humidity are lower than the recommended lower limit, the horn glue will cure more slowly, and if it is higher than the recommended upper limit, the construction time will be shortened.
