MF889-25 silicone weather-resistant sealant is suitable for weather-resistant and waterproof sealing of various glass curtain walls, aluminum curtain walls and other building curtain walls in buildings.

MF889-25 silicone weathering sealant is a one-component, highly elastic, low modulus (LM) silicone weathering sealant, used in various forms of curtain wall construction, especially high-rise building curtain walls and complex structures form. It can be easily extruded and used under most ambient temperatures, and can be cured by reacting with moisture in the air to form a durable weather-resistant silicone sealant. Because of its strong ability to withstand high and low temperature alternating deformation within its displacement capacity, it can be used with structural glue that meets the construction industry standard JG/T 475 or European standard ETAG 002, and can provide a 25-year quality guarantee.

Application method
Surface cleaning
Remove all the grease, dust, water stains, frost, surface dirt, residual sealant, glass assembly accessories, protective coatings and other impurities and contaminants left in the joints and assembly parts.
Glue injection
1. Install backing materials, spacers, spacers and tapes as required. Masking tape should be used in the area connected with the seam to ensure the neatness and appearance of the sealant tight line.
2. For the surface of non-porous materials, there is usually no need to coat the primer to have good adhesion, but for the surface of some porous materials, it may be necessary to coat the surface to ensure good adhesion. It is recommended before the start of the project Do an adhesion test.
3. Continuously squeeze MF889-25 silicone weather-resistant sealant into and fill up the joints (the sealant can be constructed with a pneumatic glue gun and other glue injection equipment). When using a pneumatic gun, the operating pressure should be adjusted to prevent air bubbles during injection.
4. When the surface of the sealant is not yet skinned, press the sealant onto the backing material and the joint surface with appropriate strength, and smooth the surface of the sealant.
5. After leveling, immediately tear off the masking tape. Do not use liquids such as water, soapy water, or alcohol to help level it.
Storage and validity period
The packaged product can be stored in a cool, ventilated and dry place for 2 months. Use it before the "expiry date" of the outer packaging of the product
