DJ-A3-MF899F is used for structural assembly of building curtain walls, bonding and sealing of various fire doors and windows, flame-retardant sealing of all layers of curtain wall engineering, and flame-retardant sealing of waterproof, moisture-proof, decoration in public places. MF899F has the dual functions of fire retardant and structural bonding assembly. It has excellent weathering resistance and good bonding properties.
DJ-A3-MF899F is actually not affected by sunlight, rain, wind and snow, and extreme high and low temperatures. Its unique weather resistance allows it to remain essentially unchanged even if it is exposed to severe weather conditions if fully cured. The original design performance of the joint will not change significantly due to aging or exposure to the atmosphere, and the sealant still has water and weather resistance properties. The cured sealant remains elastic in the low temperature range of -60C to high temperature range of 180°C, and will not be embrittled, cracked or torn.
DJ-A3-MF899F is compatible with most substrates.

Application method
Surface cleaning
Remove all the grease, dust, water stains, frost, surface dirt, old sealant, assembly accessories and protective coatings and other impurities and contaminants left in the joints and assembly parts.
Metal, glass and plastic must be cleaned with solvents such as absolute ethanol, acetone, methyl ethyl ketone, isopropanol, etc. according to the "double-cloth wiping method". In all cases, the solvent must be wiped with a clean, lint-free white cloth. Do not use detergent or soapy water.

Use primer
The use of DJ-A3-MF899F generally does not require primer. If the adhesion test indicates that primer is needed, apply the primer thinly on the joint surface with a clean, lint-free cloth and let it dry before injecting glue. Corresponding tests must be done before glue injection to determine if primer is needed.
Padding material
Open-cell polyurethane foam, closed-cell polyethylene foam or non-venting polyolefin materials are recommended cushioning materials. As for shallow seams that cannot accommodate foam rods, polyethylene tape can be used instead.
Masking and correction
The area near the seam needs to be shielded to ensure a perfect appearance of the sealed area. Never let the masking tape touch the surface of the substrate to be injected. After finishing the work, the masking tape should be removed immediately.
Glue injection
As shown in Figure 1, install the cushion material, spacer spacer and masking tape. Continuously squeeze DJ-A3-MF899F into and fill the joints. Flatten the sealant on the gasket material and the surface of the joint with an appropriate force. The finishing process must be done at one go after the injection is completed and the surface is not skinned.It is recommended to use convex tools to trim the rubber surface into a concave shape, and soapy water should not be used as an auxiliary material for trimming. After the trimming is completed, immediately tear off the masking tape. On the glass assembly, the sealant injected on the bottom seam must be trimmed to a bevel to prevent water accumulation. Uncured sealant is never allowed to come in contact with non-grindable surfaces, such as polished marble, metal or glass surfaces, because excess sealant cannot be completely removed with organic or chlorinated solvents. Therefore, these surfaces must be covered, or extra care must be taken when injecting glue to prevent the sealant from contacting these surfaces. Once the uncured sealant touches these surfaces, it will leave a film on the surface, which will affect the unique aesthetics of the substrate.

This product has not been tested or stated as suitable for medical or medicinal use.
This product is not suitable for:
Joints in groundwater or places subject to excessive friction
Long-term immersion in water
Oil, plasticizer, solvent may ooze on the surface of building materials, or partially vulcanized rubber gasket or tape
On frosty or wet surfaces
Places that are completely inaccessible to air during curing (the sealant needs to be cured by moisture)
Application of paint on the surface of the sealant (generally paint cannot adhere to the surface of silicone)
Direct contact with food or other food-grade surface applications
