MF1009 structural adhesive film is a composite structural adhesive film of epoxy resin and nitrile rubber. It is mainly used for fixing the rearview mirror lens holder of the front windshield glass of automobiles, and also for fixing related components on automobile glass. MF1009 structural adhesive film can be directly bonded at room temperature, and the operation is simple and convenient. It can be thermally cured under the high temperature and high pressure environment in the windshield glass production to achieve the structural bonding strength, without additional equipment, and no glue overflow. After curing, it has strong resistance to external environmental factors such as cold and hot temperature changes, humidity, UV, etc.

Curing method
MF 1009 is a structural adhesive film cured under high temperature and high pressure. The curing conditions are:
It can be cured under 140C, 1.15MPa condition for 40min, or under other corresponding conditions.

Chemical resistance

Construction method
Requirements for bonding substrates
1. Automobile glass manufacturers should select bonding substrates that meet the requirements of relevant standards.
2. The surface quality requirements after the surface treatment of the bonding substrate: the dirt, dust, any oil, frost, etc. on the surface of the substrate should be removed before construction.
3. Use of solvent:-Anhydrous ethanol and acetone are generally recommended.
4. The cleaning method of the bonded substrate: the surface of the bonded substrate is cleaned by the "double cloth wipe method".
Pour an appropriate amount of solvent on the clean lint-free degreased yarn, wipe the surface to be adhered forcefully in one direction, and check the degreased yarn to confirm whether the surface dirt is adsorbed.
Before the solvent evaporates, immediately wipe off the solvent on the surface of the adherend with a second piece of clean lint-free degreasing yarn, and do not allow the solvent to dry on the surface. Degreasing yarn should be replaced regularly to ensure that the degreasing yarn does not cause secondary pollution to the surface.
The cleaning width should always be greater than the construction width of the adhesive structural adhesive film, generally by about 1cm on both sides.
5. Inspection of cleaning quality:
Use clean and lint-free degreasing yarn to wipe the surface to be adhered. The degreasing yarn should be free of contamination.
The cleaned surface is not allowed to be touched again by hand or contaminated by any other method
The cleaned substrate must be completed within 30 minutes, and the surface that will not be constructed within 30 minutes should be cleaned again before construction before construction.
It is not allowed to soak the used degreasing yarn with solvent, which will cause solvent pollution. The solvent should be poured from a small container on the degreasing yarn, and a clean container should be used to store the solvent.
The surface cleaning of the substrate should be carried out in a well-ventilated environment, and safety measures such as fire prevention and explosion prevention are required.

Construction procedure of structural adhesive film
1. Cut out the structural adhesive film of the same size according to the drawing of the rearview mirror seat of the car.
2. Slowly tear off the release paper on one side of the structural film, and bond the exposed film on the rearview mirror base according to the drawing pattern. Press a little harder to ensure that the structural film and the mirror base are tightly bonded. Keep the other side Of isolation paper.
3. The construction environment temperature is higher than 10C, you can use it directly without preheating; if the environment temperature is lower than 10C, place the rearview mirror lens holder with the structural adhesive film in the (45±5) C oven with the lens holder facing down Preheat for 30 minutes, and how much baking is needed. Do not leave the base glue in the oven for a long time to affect its performance.
4. Take out the lens holder, slowly tear open the isolation paper on the other side, glue the other side of the adhesive film to the designated position of the front windshield as required, press gently to squeeze out the bubbles.

    Precautions and precautions

    Recommended use conditions: temperature 15 ~ 35C, relative humidity 40% ~ 80%; if the temperature and humidity are lower than the recommended lower limit, the horn glue will cure more slowly, and if it is higher than the recommended upper limit, the construction time will be shortened.
