Product Description

Insulating glass warm edge strips

Product Detail:

Warm Edge Spacer Bar

STAINLESS STEEL SPACERS HAVE THE FOLLOWING TECHNIC

1.Excellent fire performance
The melting point of stainless steel is around 1500 ⁰ C. The stainless steel spacer can ensure the integrity of the glass structure under the condition of high temperature and high temperature. It is the best choice for fireproof windows and fireproof glass.

2.Outstanding warm edge performance
The thermal conductivity of stainless steel warm edge spacer is 14.3 w/m. K, which is less than 9 parts of aluminum spacer, so it is a warm edge spacer.

3.Reliable sealing structure
The linear expansion coefficient of stainless steel spacer is 15.7, which is the closest to the linear expansion coefficient of glass.According to the US Sealed Insulating Glass Association (SIGMA) for 15 years of tracking statistics on insulating glass, the industry average failure rate is more than 8%, while the 20-year failure rate of insulating glass with stainless steel warm-edged spacers is only 0.5%.

4.Stable chemical properties
As an inorganic material, stainless steel has stable chemical properties under the action of ultraviolet light and high temperature, no chemical volatilization, and does not react with the soft coating of off-line low-emissivity glass.
5.Superior mechanical properties
The stainless steel spacer can provide the rigidity and structural strength required for public building insulating glass. It can be used not only for residential doors and windows but also for structural curtain wall glass, large plate insulating glass, high-rise buildings and places with high wind loads.

Remarks: we can provide stainless steel Insulating glass warm spacer bars of different lengths and standard colors according to customers' requirements.

Glass fiber reinforced materials Insulating glass warm spacer bar has the following technical characteristics:

1. Effectively block the heat conduction of the insulating glass through the edge of the glass, and it does not contain metal materials, and the thermal conductivity is low.
2. Excellent drooping strength, good straightness, when there is three glass and two cavity hollow glass, there will be no step.
3. Excellent anti-condensation performance, is not condensation inside the insulating glass.
4. The cutting-edge technology achieves better air tightness, energy saving and environmental protection.
5. High-end insulation materials, enhanced service life of products.

1. Warm edge technology can reduce the normal heat transfer coefficient and is an effective way to improve the thermal performance of the entire window.
2.2. Warm edge technology can greatly increase the temperature of the edge of the insulating glass and improve the anti-condensation performance of the insulating glass.
3.3. Warm edge technology effectively reduces the possibility of glass self-explosion and thermal stress explosion caused by temperature difference stress during use.
4.4. Warm edge spacers with double-channel sealing structure can be used in doors and windows of residential buildings and glass curtain walls under construction.
5.5. The most common and concise way to explain is that the warm edge strips form a broken bridge inside the insulating glass.
Many customers are asking, why are there warm edge strips now that most people are using aluminum spacers? Why are they so much more expensive than ordinary aluminum spacers?
In fact, some customers may not yet understand this warm edge spacer.
Warm edge strip: It is composed of a stainless steel profile with a thickness of 0.1mm and a corrugated rib on the surface and a plastic top cover. Its function is to reduce the heat insulation rate of the window very well, and also has a very good sealing effect. The reason why it is much more expensive than ordinary aluminum spacers is that it is more expensive.
The perfect combination of high-quality, high-strength, low thermal conductivity insulation materials and precision stainless steel profiles with a thickness of only 0.1mm makes the thermal conductivity of the warm edge spacers only about 2% of that of traditional aluminum spacers. The spacer system used can reduce the U-value of the entire window by 0.1-0.2w/m2k, which can significantly improve the energy-saving and thermal insulation effect of the door, window and curtain wall system.

Advantages of warm edge strips:
High heat insulation, high durability,
High-comfortable new insulating glass warm edge strip
Energy saving:
Because of the edge sealing material it uses for heat preservation,
The thermal insulation performance is better than the traditional aluminum strip method hollow glass (aluminum strip method for short), which greatly reduces the heat loss at the edge of the glass.
Compared with the aluminum strip method, the edge of the hollow glass
Can reduce heat loss up to 75%.
Noise reduction:
Because its glass edge adopts a flexible sealing material, it can buffer the transmission of sound waves,
The sound insulation performance is improved by 1-2dB compared with the aluminum strip method.
longevity:
The problem of discontinuity and gaps in the corner sealing of the traditional aluminum strip method is eliminated; at the same time, the more excellent sealing performance of the sealing material and strict production requirements can ensure a long service life.
No volatile toxic substances,
It can keep the indoor air fresh without any pollution to the environment.
