3A Molecular Sieve (Insulating Glass Desiccant)

It is mainly used for drying petroleum cracked gas, olefins, gas refining fields, and oil field gas. It is a desiccant for chemical, pharmaceutical, hollow and other industries.

As a special desiccant for insulating glass, 3A molecular sieve can best meet all the performance indexes of insulating glass without any influence on its physical and chemical properties. It can continuously and deeply adsorb the water and residual organic matter in the insulating glass spacer layer, effectively prevent the condensation and frost of the glass, completely solve the problem of distortion and breakage caused by the expansion or contraction of the insulating glass, and ensure that the insulating glass is as short as 20 years -8ºC Dew point life. Therefore, only 3A molecular sieve can be used as an insulating glass desiccant.

Molecular Sieve
Molecular sieve (also known as synthetic zeolite) is a kind of aluminosilicate microporous mesh crystal, composed of SiO2 and Al2O3 tetrahedra, with uniform pore size (about a few angstroms) and extremely large surface area. There are metal cations (such as Na+, K+, Ca2+, etc.) in the molecular sieve lattice to balance the excess negative charges in the tetrahedron. Different types of molecular sieves have different pore sizes or shapes, and can be used to separate a variety of different molecules. Water is a very polar molecule. Type A molecular sieve has a very high affinity with water, and is often used as a desiccant with excellent effects. The molecular sieve we are talking about here refers to a 3A (1A=10-10m) molecular sieve that can only be used to absorb water molecules. It is dozens of times higher in drying capacity and depth than silica gel desiccant, alumina desiccant and any other types of clay desiccants.
