Product Description

MF840H high-cold-resistant polysulfide insulating glass sealant (insulating glass)
The product 840H cold resistant polysulfide insulating glass sealant (MF840H for short) is a two-component, solvent-free, room temperature curing sealant. MF840H is specially developed for the characteristics of insulating glass in high-cold areas, and has good adhesion to clean surfaces such as glass and aluminum.

Features:
performance product advantages
Room temperature curing, reactive sealant Make the sealed unit have good structural integrity
Chemical resistant sealant Compared with silicone sealant, it reduces the failure rate caused by glass incompatibility
Low water vapor transmission rate Make insulating glass have a longer life
Non-sagging Cleaner and easier to apply. There is less waste in hand coating application.
Solvent free No volatile organic compounds
Vat packaging: Part A: 300Kg/barrel Part B: 30Kg/barrel

package:
Medium drum packaging: Part A: 30Kg/barrel Part B: 3.6Kg/barrel
Small barrel package A component: 4Kg/drum B component: 0.48KG/bag

safety:
For health and safety reasons, you should check the product label and material safety data sheet (MSDS) before using this product or any product.

Instructions for use:
Surface cleaning: The surface of the adhered material must be clean, dry, free of dust and grease to ensure good bonding performance. The glass surface is thoroughly cleaned manually or mechanically, without film formation and low residue. Mixing process: The range of the distribution ratio between the two groups of A and B is the mass ratio A:B=100: (6~12). Within this range, the curing of the sealant can be adjusted by adjusting the ratio of the A and B components Speed (the greater the amount of component B.
The faster the curing speed; the smaller the amount of component B, the slower the curing speed); the composition should be uniform and no color difference. It is recommended to use the best mixing mass ratio of 100:10, and the best mass ratio should be completed in about 20 minutes (23C pot life). As the temperature rises, the pot life shortens. Important: If the mixing mass ratio is lower than 100:6, the mechanical properties may decrease. If the mixing mass ratio is greater than 100:12, the final product performance will have a slight impact, but the active period will change significantly. Gluing process: Coating in the same direction to prevent air bubbles from being wrapped in the glue and reduce the sealing performance of the insulating glass. Curing: It is required to apply as much as possible in an environment higher than 10°C, and not in an environment of 5°C. The curing speed of MF840H depends on the ambient temperature.
Newly made insulating glass cannot be cured in low temperature or exposed to rain. Try to make the desiccant completely dry the air cavity, which can effectively avoid condensation on the glass plate; the initial curing 5h can minimize the risk. The curing time of the newly produced insulating glass is less than 24 hours, so it cannot be exposed to the sun. Cleaning: After construction, the uncured materials on tools and equipment should be removed with solvent immediately.
