Warm edge spacer bar 8A 7.5mm for windows and standard construction glazed units

Warm edge also significantly lowers the temperature differential between centre and edge of unit and up to 94% reduced heat loss (or heat gain) at the external edge of your window.


While making a real contribution to the environment, this heat saving can help to reduce the heat consumption or air conditioning requirements of a home which lowers carbon emissions and saves money on fuel bills.

Warm edge technology can also help to reduce condensation on your sealed unit by up to 70%. This reduction in moisture virtually eliminates the chance of mould growth and potentially harmful bacteria. This is an essential consideration for the increasing number of people who suffer from respiratory conditions such as asthma.

We supply the largest volume and range of spacer bars to the market including our own manufactured highest performance Warm Edge Spacers, a wide range of Aluminium Spacer Bars and also Steel Spacer Bars.  

Warm Edge Spacer is our highest performance engineering plastic spacer which is manufactured in our own spacer bar manufacturing facilities. We also injection mould a wide range of bespoke fittings in our own injection moulding division where we produce approximately 10 million mouldings per year.

Warm Edge Spacer is our highest performance elastomeric foamed rubber spacer compounded by adding desiccant powder to guarantee the moisture absorption capacity of the product. Compounding in-house allows to maintain complete control of the content and quality of the product from initial mixture to product processing, packaging and final distribution.

Warm Edge Spacer have two of the industry's lowest thermal conductivity values. Both are Passive House Certified Components and can achieve a phA+ rating. They are also highest rated in passive house hygiene requirements.
